Erin Smith chose to become a Speech-Language Pathologist after observing her nephew’s SLP change his life by enhancing his communicative abilities. Every aspect of his life improved with her help; his interactions with friends, school work, as well as his confidence and quality of life. Erin decided that she wanted to dedicate her career to helping people with communication disorders.
She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of South Florida. She has gained a wide range of experiences working in hospitals, private therapy settings, and skilled nursing facilities. She has treated a wide array of communication disorders and has she has developed an interest in working with children who have articulation/phonological disorders, receptive and expressive language delays, feeding issues, pragmatic language delays, and developmental delays.
